FEBRUARY

BEGINNING QUILTING
Instructor: Becky Panariso

Thursdays, January 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16, 23 at 9: 30 a.m. OR 5:30 p.m.
Learn the basics of quilting and make an attractive baby or lap-size quilt. Becky will cover fabric selection, and then you will learn rotary cutting, machine piecing, quilting and binding. You will have a finished project by the end of the six sessions.
Cost: $60 + notebook ($15) and supplies
Rail Romp
  Instructor: Susie Cunningham

Saturday, February 11, 10-1
Quick and easy!! Beginner-friendly, but fun for more experienced quilters. This table runner takes less than 2 hours to piece and less than 2 hours to finish (including the binding!) Join us and make a last-minute valentine gift or choose a spring-inspired fabric ('cause we know it's coming!)

Cost: $20 plus pattern ($3.50), fabric and supplies
Using Inktense Pencils
  Instructor: Nancy Piazza

Saturday, February 18, 9:30-noon
Combine Inktense watersoluble ink pencils with fabric medium to achieve a watercolor effect on fabric. Since many of us are "drawing challenged", we will have floral designs for tracing. The end result could be used for a pillow top or in a hanging.

Cost: $15, plus pencils ($12.95), medium ($8.95) and supplies
Strip Club
  Instructor: Tracy Baird

Saturday, February 25, 9:30-12:30
"Hot Flashes" is the name of this pattern. The picture shows it in very bright colors, but you'll want to see Tracy's version with greens and blues. A special ruler makes it easier to make those dynamite arrows. A fun time is in store for you.
Cost: $25 plus pattern, optional ruler, and supplies
